302 - Waking Worthy of God

God bless you abundantly, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In 1st Thessalonians chapters 2:8 through to verse12 we can see that Paul would do everything and anything to help those that believe. He was charging them as a father would to his children, calling them aside as a good father would talk to his children, and walk worthy of the Lord. This was not a command. This was charging and imploring them to a more Godly endeavor. He was calling them to a Godly way by the freedom of their will.

In the age of Grace, there are no more commands but instead, it's a charging them, by the freedom of their will, that they would reach for a more Godly endeavor. As we read we can see this throughout the Church Epistles a calling aside and trying to help people walk with God more perfectly. In this podcast, we're going to read some of the records in which Paul calls people of God calling them to walk in a more Godly way.

Podcast listeners, You are invited to zoom in to a live recording of our podcast on June 5th. We will be celebrating the Christian holiday of Pentecost. We meet Sunday Mornings at 10:30 AM EST. All you need to do is click on the website (https://stevejaynes.com/zoom-dial-in) and click into the meeting.

We are a listener-supported podcast. I want to thank those who generously give so we can keep the podcast available. The podcast is heard around the world by those who want to know how to accurately understand the Bible when they read it.

We believe the Bible is the revealed Word and will of God. The Bible means what it says and says what it means. We let the Word of God speak for itself by using keys and principles on how the Bible interprets itself. By being 100% listener-supported we do not sell any part of the podcast. The podcast is for only those who are entirely in favor of letting the Word of God speak for itself. If you would like to support the podcast you can simply go to the website: stevejaynes.com. On the top of every page, there's a donate button. I would like to give some special gifts to those who meet a minimal donation. The gifts can be seen on the top of the Biblical Studies Books Page.
