304 - You That Believe

Expecting to See Results
God bless you abundantly, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In the latest podcast, I continued to read 1st Thessalonians Starting in 2:13. It says that the Word of God works effectually within them that believe. Believing is a big key to receiving anything from God. We need to know that when The Word of God is taught that is it is the Word of God and not the word of men. We have to trust and believe in the men of God who teach us God's Word. The first way to do that is to search the Scriptures daily to see if those things which are taught are true. Once you do that you can have a pattern of people who teach the Word accurately. You can start to have confidence, trust, and believe that they are giving you the rightly divided Word of God.
As we continue to read in 1st Thessalonians we can see that the theme is persecution. The Apostle Paul and others were persecuted. How the Believers in Thessalonica were persecuted. This theme can be seen throughout all the Church Epistles. Paul always mentions the persecutions that he was going through and how he handles them. He teaches us how we can handle persecutions. Some keys in handle persecutions are prayers and the utilization of grace in our lives. We should come boldly before the throne of grace in time of need. As we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, the head of the Church, and one body Jesus Christ. We can learn how to handle persecution and come out on top as more than conquerors.
As we continue reading in 1st Thessalonians as well as thought-out the Church Epistles we can see that the believers and teachers desire greatly to get together to see each other. By the mutual believing of them, both, One believing to impart some spiritual ministries to established and others to receive encouragement so as to be more than conquerors.
Special Events for our podcasters: “Celebrating the Epistles and Acts” coming to Maine from July 29 to July 31. This event will be one you could attend personally and meet others who are concerned about the integrity and accuracy of God's Word.
Weekend in the Word will be the focusing on the portions of the Bible written directly to us and Acts. Everybody is invited to hear seasoned teachers from across the country share what God has been working on in their lives. There will be teachers from Arizona, Washington State, Illinois, Virginia, and Maine.
We will start on July 29 at the 6 pm supper meal to the noon meal on July 31.
