247 – Patiently Endured

Notes by Steve Jaynes

God bless you all in the mighty and Powerful name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless you all abundantly. The following are the notes from the latest podcast show “Patiently Endured.” I have all the scriptures written out so it will be easy for you to follow along.

This week I started out by sharing what happened to me Saturday the day before our Sunday morning Fellowship. First I shared how on Saturday morning Mariela Lara and I worked on getting the manuscript on Amazon Publishing of my book on “How to Read the Bible for Understanding and Power, part 2, How to believe God and defeat fear” in Spanish. We worked on getting all the information about the book on their platform. Now the is available both in Kindle format and a paperback in Spanish. Simply by going to amazon or Kindle anywhere in the world Spanish speaking people can read this book. “Como Leer la Biblia para Entendimiento y Poder, Parte Uno: Cómo creer en Dios y vencer el miedo. (Spanish Edition) by Steve Jaynes (Author)

In the afternoon I had the privilege of being part of an International Believers Fellowship that was put on by the Believers from Venezuela. It's a group of believers that is part of  EISYS (International Training for Supervisor and Servers) program. EISYS is a leadership training program for Spanish-speaking believers. EISYS is a leadership training program for Spanish-speaking believers. It's a three-year program to train Christian believers to be leaders in the Christian ministries. I was asked to teach at this month's leadership training program. I was very blessed to do so. My teaching title was “Patiently Endured” I retaught the teaching at our Sunday morning Fellowship and the latest podcast show. I took time to share my experience with our fellowship and my sharing is part of the podcast show. They were 36 connections and in each of the connections, they were gathered together in groups. Believers from Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, Spain, Chile, Mexico, and the USA. Click here or on the title to hear the sharing and the teaching.

Patiently Endured

Galatians 5:13 & 14 “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

When it comes to liberty and living in freedom everything starts and ends with love. The love of God in our minds in action. That's what makes a great servant to others.

Galatians 6:7 – 10 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

God is not fooled. He sees and knows what's going on. He will not forget your labor of love. If we don't get worn out.

Hebrews 6:10 – 15 “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”

To patiently endured is not to get weary or worn out. It's not to faint but to stay firm on the Word of God we know. When in doubt we continue to love.

2 Peter 1:3 – 8 “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The last thing mentioned is charity, the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation. Remember I said it all starts with love and ends with love.

1 Corinthians 15:57 & 58 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Until the next time we get together, may God bless you abundantly.
